How to Share Your Book Files
To ensure a smooth and efficient process for your book's formatting and design, please follow these guidelines for sharing your files. This helps us accurately prepare your manuscript for publication.
Proper file organization and sharing methods are crucial for handling your manuscript and any accompanying assets.
Sharing Files via Google Drive
Google Drive is our preferred method for larger files and projects, offering excellent organization and collaboration features.

Step 1: Organize Your Files in Google Drive
Create a main folder in your Google Drive, named after your book (e.g., "Your Book Title"). Inside this main folder, create two subfolders:
- Images: This folder will contain all your high-resolution image and chart files (if applicable).
- Manuscript: This folder will contain your book's document file (e.g., Word document, InDesign file).
Step 2: Prepare Your Manuscript Document
If your book does not include any images or charts, simply provide your final manuscript document in the "Manuscript" folder.
If your book includes images or charts, please embed low-resolution versions of these directly into the document where you intend them to appear. This serves as a visual guide for our team to understand the exact placement of each image within your book's text.
For example, if you have an image of a "Red Rose" that should appear on page 15, insert a low-res version of that image on page 15 of your manuscript.
Step 3: Upload High-Resolution Images and Charts
If your book contains images or charts, place all your original, high-resolution image and chart files into the "Images" subfolder. These should be the best quality versions you have, as we will use these to replace the placeholders in your manuscript for the final publication.
- Ensure image/chart files are clearly named (e.g.,
red_rose.jpg
,chapter_2_diagram.png
). - Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, TIFF, or SVG.
- Important Note: For optimal print and digital quality, please ensure all high-resolution images and charts are at least 300 DPI (dots per inch).
Step 4: Share the Main Folder with Us
Once your files are organized, share the main "Your Book Title" folder with our team. Right-click on the main folder in Google Drive, select "Share", and enter our email address:
Please ensure you grant us "Editor" access so we can download the files and make necessary arrangements.
